Are You a Martryr to Your Job?

I think we know of martyrs who have died for great causes. They had a calling to become sacrificial to a purpose larger than they had imagined.

Is being a martyr to a job the same? I think not. Surprisingly, many people keep a job that is either dreadful, boring or just plain harmful to one's being.

I think the reasons for staying with a bad job are:

  • Fear of making a change.
  • Economic hardship without a job.
  • Avoiding risks.
  • Inner conflict over worthiness.
  • Lack of other goals.
  • Punishment as a choice.
  • Seeing the glass as half empty.
  • Not enough emotional support.
  • Fear of not making it.
  • Life orientation to grin & bear it.

No need to define job martyrdom with more reasons to this list.

If you find yourself using one of these reasons or all of them, what do you have to lose by venturing out of your false comfort zone and finding the job you need and want?

You bet it will make you a different person; healthier and happier, maybe even wealthier!

    Fly Line Color

There are quite a few colors of fly lines available. Some floating fly lines are bright yellow, others are fluorescent green, and still others are a pumpkin orange. So, with all the fly line colors available, which one should you choose.

For sinking lines, it is generally best to choose a line that is darker in color, such as brown. While this point is open to argument and debate, most anglers seem to conclude that when sub-surface fishing, fish may be less apt to see a darker color fly line than a bright one.

However, for top water or floating lines, the color of the line is generally immaterial as far as the fish goes. Whatever the color of the fly line, when looking up, a fish is bound to see it except for at night (when a dark line may prove beneficial). A fish looking up towards the surface of the water will see the fly line regardless of the color since the line itself is lit up from the light of the sky - and thus casting a shadow over the fish. Since this is generally accepted (although arguments do rage on about this), it is generally best to choose a fly line color that is easy for YOU to see. Brightly colored fly lines are much easier for the angler to see, and seeing the fly line is crucial for successful fly fishing - especially when fly fishing with nymphs. This is especially true in low light conditions, where actually seeing your fly is almost impossible, and the angler must instead rely on the actions of the fly line.

In sum, for top water fly fishing, choose a fly line that is easy for you to see in all lighting conditions. For sub-surface fishing, choose a darker color fly line (most sinking lines are dark in color, so you won't have many choices!).

Does Your Spouse Know What You Are Doing?

It can't happen to you. You are immune to accidents and illness. Life will continue to go on just as it has been. However, the screeching of brakes could change that instantly.

You have a thriving Internet business going. Your empire includes several websites that you created, with several different products. You also belong to several affiliate programs, a good network marketing program that is giving you monthly residual income, and a bunch of safe lists and traffic programs. You also have a personal and a business PayPal account, several ClickBank accounts, and a StormPay account, each with a different username and password. Then there are your various email accounts and auto responders. You also have some great software on your computer, such as tour ezine editor and safe list submitter. And you probably have a bunch of things that I didn't mention.

All this stuff is so much fun to keep track of. However, you are keeping good track of it. Aren't you?

But are you the only one keeping track of it? Does your spouse have any idea of what you do on the Internet every day? If those screeching tires took you out of commission for a while could your spouse step in for you and keep your Internet Empire running?

If you can answer yes to these questions then pat yourself on the back, you are the exception. You plan ahead for the unexpected. You have set up a free insurance plan that will allow your Internet business to continue even if you can't for a while. Congratulations. Good going.

How about the rest of you? Is this important to you?

In the off line business world there is key man insurance. This insurance is on an individual who is extremely important to the success of the business. It is fairly common in small to medium sized businesses where the founder knows more about the company then anyone else, and much of the knowledge is in his head.

I've never heard of key man insurance for a home-based Internet business. And even if it did exist, it would probably be very expensive. So you need to take steps to make sure that someone else knows, or can find, the information that you use on a daily basis.

In two previous articles I talked about organizing you're marketing and getting it written down. Those articles were titled Increase Your Income with an Organized Marketing Plan and Increase Your Income with an Organized Plan. You can get a copy of them at http://www.The-Home-Business-Center.com/articles.htm. They will give you some good ideas on how to record your Internet information so that someone else could read it and continue for you.

Since your still reading, I assume that you want to create a means whereby someone could continue for you if something were to happen to you. That desire is the first step.

Now spend some time deciding how to do it. Think about how and where you want to record it and what format you want to use. Once you have made these decisions, then start recording it.

It may take time to record all of what you do. Each time you do a new task, go to wherever you are recording the information and make an entry. Be sire to include program names, URLs, user names, and pass words. Include any other pertinent information. In time you should have a fairly complete record of you Internet empire and daily tasks.

Now that it is all recorded somewhere, show it to your spouse (or your children, parents, or who ever needs to know). Show them where to find it and how to access it.

Then go over it in detail with them. Show them the associated web sites. Have them sit down at the computer and do some of the things that you do. Most people learn better if they actually do something instead of just watching you. If possible have then spend a day or two with you doing what you do to keep you're business going.

When you are done you will feel better, knowing that you have created some key man insurance. Your spouse will feel much more confidant and secure.

And now that your spouse understands your business better the two of you will be able to talk about your business. You might start get some good suggestions from your spouse. Your spouse might even start helping you in the business. And perhaps your relationship will even become stronger.

Perhaps these steps will never be needed. I hope so. However, life has a way of taking a different twist when we least expect it. It is best to prepare for such a twist before it happens.

    Use Your Time More Efficiently

There are things in life, which, in case we loose or damage, we can always gain, buy or obtain them back. Time is not one of them. Once it is gone, there is no way to get it back! Anyway, if you realize that a certain period of your life was less productive or was lost in a way or another, there is no point in crying over spilt milk - there is definitely nothing you can do about it, but learning from your own mistakes.

Take the time and meditate on why you feel that period of time was not productive. Analyze what you did wrong, what kept you from having great results, what contributed to your disappointments etc. All the information you gather will be extremely useful when it comes to establishing new guiding lines, in what concerns organizing your time in a more efficient manner. Here are some valuable advices that you might want to bear in mind, when drawing your plan:

Think about your priorities, desires and aspirations and make time for accomplishing them. By doing that you'll have the feeling your time has been used in the best manner possible. Concentrate on choosing especially those things that you always said you would do, but you never did, because that will offer you the impression you somehow made up for the lost time.

Don't postpone things like: duties, taxes, apologizing to the persons you hurt, spending time with your family, because all these actions have a certain charm and offer a certain feeling of completeness and serenity when performed at the right moment.

We all have dynamic lives and we have a million of things to take care of every day. That is why, it is crucial to make the right choices and concentrate on the priorities. Deal with the fact that you won't be able to satisfy everybody, but, nevertheless, focus on the persons you really care about. It is them you are not allowed to let down. That does not mean you have to neglect the persons seeking your help or support, but do not try to please everybody at the same time, because you'll get exhausted shortly and you'll end up by disappointing everybody.

Aim at having to deal only with people with an efficient time management. Don't waist your time with people who repeatedly are late for appointments, postpone meetings or never get there. Try to be in contact only with serious persons, who understand how precious time is. Otherwise, you'll permanently feel unjustified. In case your job obliges you to deal with this kind of people, always try to have a back up plan at hand, something else to do, in order not to wait precious time.

Learn to do more than one thing at the time. This does not mean to turn into Napoleon, but to keep your perspectives open. For example, do your nails while you're taking a bath, exercise while watching TV, listen to the news while cooking or cleaning the house, read the newspaper on the bus, have breakfast while you're answering e-mails etc. Remember there is not enough time for all the things we need to do, so combine them.

Use all these tips together with a correct diet, exercise at least three times a week and sleep no more than eight hours a night. Keep in mind that time is a gift - this way you will live as you're suppose to - like everyday was the best day of your life!

    Atkins Diet Learn More

The Atkins diet can be boring because of the limited
choice and some believe it can be dangerous. Get a
physical to make sure you can tolerate the diet and
inform the doctor about your decision to try the Atkins
diet. Make sure you completely understand how the diet
    works.

You can get all the information, both positive and
negative, that you could want online, at the library or
the bookstore. The Atkins diet attempts to get your
body to burn fat instead of carbs as fuel. Atkins dieters
sometimes experience physical reaction in the early
    weeks of the diet.

There are things that can be done to alleviate these
symptoms. Dizziness and muscular cramps can be
experienced by new Atkins dieters. You might have
dizziness, cramps or other physical effects caused by the
dietary changes you are making. You can take steps to
    prevent cramps and other symptoms.

Brain fog, dizziness and muscular cramps are common
reactions to the dietary changes. Minerals like potassium
wash out of your system rather quickly. A banana will not
replace all the potassium loss, you need to take a
supplement. Your symptoms should improve in about an
    hour.

Here are some hints to help you stay healthy while on
Atkins. There are ways to help you combat the
symptoms of the dietary changes. You need to eat at
least 8 calories per pound of body weight. You need to
drink enough water to flush toxins from your system.

Some people recommend drinking water equal to half
your body weight, that is a lot of water. Water helps the
body to rid itself of acidic ketones and also helps in
lipolysis , the burning of fat rather than carbs for energy.

Don't weigh or measure yourself more than once a week,
more often will have you obsessing over every 1/4 ounce.
You will likely see a decrease in inches after the first
week, if not you will surely see it in pounds. Eating the
carbs that make you feel your best, still means you need
to stay within the limits for the diet stage you are in. You
will get more ang for the buck if you choose
    unprocessed, natural nutrient dense carbohydrates.

Sugar is an absolute no-no. Regular exercise is absolutely
necessary. Do not even consider a program that
promises you can lose weight without exercise. Exercise
helps the body to better utilize the foods you consume.
Not doing enough exercise is as bad as doing too much.
Ask your doctor's advice about how often, how much
and what type of exercise is right for you. Don't start off
by trying to run a 10k, try a walk around the block and
    build up tolerance for more.

Be sure to take the nutrient supplements prescribed by
your doctor. You should have a journal to record your
weight loss and food consumption. If a major event or
life change happens, record it and the emotions, since
these can affect how you eat. What happens in your life
affects what you eat, how much and even how often
    you eat.

Significant events should also be entered because even
good stuff can affect you. Keep track of exactly what
you eat in your food journal if you are diabetic you will be
able to see how certain foods positively or negatively
affect blood sugar levels. You should record your daily
test results in this journal also.

Your journal will teach you to recognize patterns and to
realize when your blood sugar levels are changing. Share
your journal, or at least the trends you have noticed,
with your doctor so that he can determine what needs
to be done. Read the labels on every pre-packaged
food item, look for white flour and hidden sugars.

You will lose weight faster if you limit your caffeine intake.
The Atkins diet, or any other diet, is not going to take off
50 pounds in a week. A weight loss of 2-4 pounds a week
may be realistic for one person but not for another.
Losing more than this could be dangerous.

If weight loss is very rapid your body will go into
starvation mode and try to hold on to what it can, and
weight loss will stop cold. Any large weight loss will be
regained if you return to your ormal eating habits.
Your prior ormal eating patterns are what made you
    overweight to begin with.

A diet that promises phenomenal weight loss in a very
short period of time is likely a scam. A really workable diet
is one that recommends a balanced diet, exercise and
possibly supplements. Be sure that any supplement is
safe in general and for you in particular.

Just because a supplement is all natural, doesn't mean it
is safe. Some supplements can interact with certain
medication, so be cautious. No medications, vitamins or
supplements should be taken without your doctor's
    approval.

Are you lacking SelfDiscipline? Part 1

    A man does not live until he begins to discipline himself;
he merely exists. Like an animal he gratifies his desires
and pursues his inclinations just where they may lead him.
He is happy as a beast is happy, because he is not conscious
of what he is depriving himself; he suffers as the beast
suffers, because he does not know the way out of suffering.
He does not intelligently reflect upon life, and lives in a
series of sensations, longings, and confused memories which
are unrelated to any central idea or principle. A man whose
inner life is so ungoverned and chaotic must necessarily
manifest this confusion in the visible conditions of his
outer life in the world; and though for a time, running with
the stream of his desires, he may draw to himself a more or
less large share of the outer necessities and comforts of
life, he never achieves any real success nor accomplishes
any real good, and sooner or later wordly failure and
disaster are inevitable, as the direct result of the inward
failure to properly adjust and regulate those mental forces
    which make the outer life.

Before a man accomplish anything of an enduring nature in
the world he must first of all acquire some measure of
success in the management of his own mind. This is as
mathematical a truism as that two and two are four, for,
out of the heart are the issues of life. If a man cannot
govern the forces within himself, he cannot hold a firm
hand upon the outer activities which form his visible life.
On the other hand, as a man succeeds, in governing himself
he rises to higher and higher levels of power and usefulness
and success in the world. The only difference between the
life of the beast and that of the undisciplined man is that
the man has a wider variety of desires, and experiences a
greater intensity of suffering. It may be said of such a man
that he is dead, being truly dead to self-control, chastity,
fortitude, and all the nobler qualities which constitute
life. In the consciousness of such a man the crucified Christ
ies entombed, awaiting that resurrection which shall revivify
the mortal sufferer, and wake him up to a knowledge of tha
    realities of his existence.

With the practice of self-discipline a man begins to live,
for he then commences to rise above the inward confusion
and to adjust his conduct to a steadfast centre within
himself. He ceases to follow where inclination leads him,
reins in the steed of his desires, and lives in accordance
with the dictates of reason and wisdom. Hitherto his life
has been without purpose or meaning, but now he begins to
consciously mould his own destiny; he is clothed and in
    his right mind.

In the process of self-discipline there are three stages
    namely;

    1.Control

    2.Purification

    3.Relinquishment

A man begins to discipline himself by controlling those
passions which have hitherto controlled him; he resists
temptation and guards himself against all those tendencies
to selfish gratifications which are so easy and natural,
and which have formerly dominated him. He brings his
appetite into subjection, and begins to eat as a reasonable
and responsible being, practising moderation and
thoughtfulness in the selection of his food, with the
object of making his body a pure instrument through which
he may live and act as becomes a man, and no longer
degarding that body by pandering to gustatory pleasure. He
puts a check upon his tongue, his temper, and, in fact, his
every animal desire and tendency, and this he does by
referring all his acts to a fixed centre within himself.
It is a process of living from within outward, instead of,
as formerly, from without inward. He conceives of an ideal,
and, enshrining that ideal in the sacred recesses of his
heart, he regulates his conduct in accordance with its
    exaction and demands.

There is a philosophical hypothesis that at the heart of
every atom and every aggregation of atoms in the universe
there is a motionless center which is the sustaining source
of all the universal activities. Be this as it may, there
is certainly in the heart of every man and woman a selfless
centre without which the outer man could not be, and the
ignoring of which leads to suffering and confusion. This
selfless center which takes the form, in the mind, of an
ideal of unselfishness and spotless purity, the attainment
of which is desirable, is man's eternal refuge from the
storms of passion and all the conflicting elements of his
lower nature. It is the Rock of Ages, the Christ within,
the divine and immortal in all men.

End of part 1. Part 2 coming soon...

THE TRUTH ABOUT YOUR ACNE PROBLEM!

Like a good many people I have been the victim of acne vulgaris (what an appropriate name for such a vulgar disease) the medical term for pimples.

My acne problem has made me aggravated, made me cry, and made me angry. Thousands of people each year are afflicted by an acne problem, and their acne problem makes recluses out of way too many teenagers and even adults.

Your acne problem is caused when your pores get clogged and the fatty material made by the sebaceous gland accumulates, and a ump appears under the skin-or perhaps a whitehead or a blackhead (a comedone).

Blackheads are not caused by dirt but by the discoloring effect of air on the fatty material in the clogged pore. If this substance becomes infected a pimple results.

That is the medical explanation for pimples but what people really want to know is How do I get RID of my acne problem!?

As anyone can tell you the worst thing to do is to push or pop a pimple. Because this will not only cause your acne problem to worsen, but can result in life long scars.

No matter what you see on TV or in movies and no matter what anyone in your family or what any friend tells you, DON'T pop that pimple.

I speak from personal experience, my acne problem was so bad I couldn't stand it so I popped pimples trying to be proactive in getting rid of them.

That is the wrong method to get involved in doing something to rid yourself of your acne problem. I am still paying for doing it by the scars that remain on my face.

The right way is a simple trick I learned that lessons acne dramatically:

Steam your face at night over a warm bowl of water for 20 minutes before retiring to bed (this should be after washing your face thoroughly with a gentle cleanser like Olay's or Neutragena's facial cloths)

And then massage one half a teaspoon of castor oil onto your face for about 1 minute, until your face is just lightly shiny.

This will help keep your pores open and prevent new pimples from forming (the steaming opens pores and helps get rid of old pimples).

In the morning you should wash your face again immediately after waking and steam face again for 20 more minutes.

After steaming your face in the morning splash your face with cold water and dry off.

Do this consistently every night and morning for optimal results in clearing up your acne problem.

Now that you are armed with this information put it to use tonight and watch the improvement as your acne problem fades and your skin begins to glow after just a short period of time.

    Barriers to Prosperity

An odd but frequent barrier to prosperity is the belief that we're the wrong type to live an abundant life. This comes down to a whole attitude about ourselves which places us as a misfit. This is quite usual among those who are on a Spiritual Path. I had this barrier at one time, and have discovered that it's completely irrelevant.

Eccentric millionares are wonderful examples of personal uniqueness being no barrier to prosperity. There are stories of the wildcat oilmen earlier this century in Texas who were the ultimate nonconformists. They made a mint! Unfortunately, one can encounter on the way up those who would want you to feel minimized by your uniqueness. These are rarely the ones with any true power (although they would dearly love for you to believe that they did). Depending on my mood, I treat them with compassion for their envy or simply ignore them.

You are here to express your individuality. If you read the history of the truly wealthy, you will see that they had this in common; they believed in their vision whether others did or not. Rarely do you hear of the success story where the prosperous individual worked 9 to 5, obeyed all the rules, dressed in the conformity uniform and always followed the party line.

If you don't want to be rich, but simply be comfortable, that can set you apart as well. Some of the non-conformists of my aquaintance are exceptionally talented in areas they have no real interest in. I've been told I'd be a wonderful and wealthy salesperson (yuck!). It's vitally important that you understand yourself and your own needs, and then refuse to budge. Whatever you know that you truly want, that's what you are supposed to have.

Arthritis Treatment The Good And The Bad

We use this title because not all arthritis treatments are, shall we say, enjoyable. If you suffer from the painful effects of this debilitating condition though, very little can seem worse. The pain is often so severe that the simplest movements can cause anguish and even tears. But, there are treatments to help arthritis. Can they cure it? That is still to be seen, but many have shown to be effective in fighting off the pain. First, there are many different types of arthritis. The causes of each will help to determine the treatment. But, here, we will talk mainly of the treatment options available and then those that are quite possibly the best at treating rheumatoid arthritis.

The symptoms of any arthritis start with pain. There is pain in the joints in a way that limits the amount of movement a person has. Now, remember, as well, that arthritis can strike any individual, not necessarily just older people. So, if a child stops using a limb complaining of pain, a doctor should be seen. On top of this, if symptoms of pain are accompanied with fever a doctor should be seen immediately as this can be a sign of a deadlier arthritis known as septic arthritis. In all cases, arthritis is an inflammation in the joints. The problem in rheumatoid arthritis is that, in trying to deal with the inflammation, the immune system ends up attacking the cartilage in the joints. The end result is pain and lessened use of the effected joint.

In order to stop this process, arthritis treatments can be anything from surgery to medications. There are some good notes about medications, but in the end, they can not resolve the entire problem, only mask the pain for a while. Surgery is invasive and costly. Physical treatment is available and has shown good progress in helping some patients. There are also herbal remedies that have shown good signs of helping as well. There is one product that we would like to mention in a little more detail. What is so unique about this product, though, is that it is a natural treatment that can be taken.

In the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in particular, collagen type II can be just as good as a cure to some individuals. This natural substance is actually a main component of cartilage itself. But, no injections are needed because this is an oral treatment. You will take a pill, in other words. There are many reasons why this medication works including the fact that it has an absorption rate of 70 to 90 percent. This means more of it is used and fewer doses are needed. There are other reasons why it works so well.

For instance, the immune system has a component of cells in the intestine called the GALT. This is where proteins are recognized as food or friend and therefore not treated as allergies or sensitivities by the digestive system. When collagen type II is ingested, the GALT recognizes this amino acid as a friendly protein. This action switches off the immune system's attack on collagen elsewhere in the body as in arthritic joints. Instead of the immune system fighting the inflammation and destroying the remaining good material, the Galt simply tells it to stop. And, probably the most important aspect of this natural arthritis treatment is that it can also help to rebuild the damaged and destroyed cartilage. The combination of these two factors can help to restore a normal way of life.

No matter which method proves to be more beneficial to you, you'll find that talking with your doctor about the type of arthritis you have and arthritis treatments can get you on the right track to overcoming this pain. You can regain your life!

    Avoiding Depression

Can you really avoid depression? Is there a way that you can get rid of this awful disease that seems to be taking over your life? For many, the only way to rid their bodies of depression is by taking medications and getting therapy. Both of these things are great ways to work through your depression, but is there a way in which you can avoid it altogether?

Depression is a mind disease. It is usually caused by an imbalance of chemicals in the brain. Sometimes, we refer to ourselves as being depressed when things go wrong. This is not the clinical form of depression, but both of these conditions can feel like the end of the world. The only way to avoid depression or really low times is to simply fight against it by surrounding yourself with good thoughts, experiences and people. Will it cure you of your depression? No, not technically. But, by surrounding yourself with a positive environment filled with positive energy, you may find that the effects that depression has on you is lessened.

Only your doctor can help you overcome depression. But, by placing positiveness within your life, you may be able to lessen the effects depression has. This is never a reason not to see your doctor though. If you would like more information regarding avoiding depression you can seek out the knowledge that is available throughout the internet. Websites like www.avoiddepression.com can provide you with good ideas, inspirations, and ways to avoid depression. Although it is not a medical website, it is still a good source for more ideas.

    Arthritis supplements

While not everybody agrees that supplements are useful, there is quite a lot of anecdotal evidence to support them.

Couple of most hyped supplements for arthritis include glucosamine and chondroitin.

Glucosamine is an amino sugar that may have a major role in cartilage repair, it can also have minor anti inflammatory effects.

Chondroitin is also component of cartilage, it works very much similarly to glucosamine.

They can be very useful when the pain is directly cause by cartilage breakdown.

There's some scientific evidence to back up their usefulness, and they might be worth trying, especially in case of osteoarthritis.

But, remember that glucosamine & chondroitin are sold as dietary supplements, and supplements aren't regulated with the scrutiny of drugs.

So, make sure to purchase from reputable sources, or better yet buy a branded product, and you'll minimize the risks of ending up with an unworthy product that doesn't even have a change to work.

You're A Mathematical Genius You Know!

This may come as a surprise to you.

But the truth is, you really are good at mathematics.

You see, every day you solve complex problems by breaking them down into tiny little aby steps.

And just like the world's most powerful computer or the greatest ever mathematical prodigy, it's this step-by-step process that enables you to do practically anything.

Let's see this process in action with a couple of examples:

    * * * Example 1 - Calculating the Dreaded Sales Tax

The sales tax rate varies around the world, but here in the UK it's 17.5%. Urgh! What kind of figure is that?

Let's look at it again and see how we can tame the beast by breaking it down.

    17.5

It consists of 10, plus 5 plus 2.5, doesn't it?

And those numbers form a distinct sequence. In other words... 10, plus half, plus half again.

Now that we know this, we can do something really clever...

Suppose you want to calculate 17.5% of 40 UK pounds. How would you work this out? (Stop! Don't even think of reaching for that calculator!)

Start with the 10. 10% of 40 is 4. Add half (2) and half again (1) and you get 7.

So you proudly announce to your colleagues... So by adding 17.5% sales tax to our 40 product, the total retail price will be... 47.

    They look on amazed.

Let's take another example and show how simple math really is...

    * * * Example 2 - Help your daughter with her homework.

You arrive home and your daughter needs some help with her math assignment. It's those darn fractions again.

She just can't make sense of them.

A half times a half is a quarter. So how, when you multiply things together, can you have LESS than you started out with!

You explain that multiplication and division are two sides of the same thing, and you make it eal world for her with a little analogy:

You get her to imagine a cake.

You remind her that multiplying by half is another way of saying divide by 2. So she pictures herself halving the cake, giving one piece half to her friend Jane, and keeping the other half.

You daughter now has half a cake.

She multiplies her piece by a half (i.e. divides it into two again) and she's left with a quarter.

She goes off to bed happy, dreaming about birthday cake And you get to watch the ball game on TV.

Again, it's just a matter of simplifying.

    ------------------------------------------------------------

Real world math is not about mental agony, or learning mechanical formulas that you follow mindlessly like a robot.

It's about common sense, seeing how numbers really work, and breaking things down.

You just need a little imagination. After all, that's what genius really is.

Are you creating your life deliberately or by default?

    Copyright 2005 Melissa Jean Quiter

Have you ever wondered how some people seem to have it all, while others struggle and work hard their whole lives and still have little to show for it? What is the difference between those that are creating the exact lives they desire to live and those who are not?

After hundreds of hours of research in programs, books, discussions and cutting-edge thought seminars, those questions can be answered by two very simple, yet profound, words.

    Deliberate and Default

More specifically, deliberate creation -- proactively participating in the creation and manifestation of your conscious and subconscious desires, and default creation - being only consciously aware of what you desire while the subconscious (where 88% of creating is done) pushes you along without awareness and focused direction.

As the creator of your life, you are at cause for everything you attract into your experience. And based on the universal Law of Attraction, which says -- that which your energy is focused is drawn to you -- there is never a moment when you are not creating.

So, if you are deliberately creating your life through active participation, awareness and focused energy, your life is a true reflection of what you desire. If you are creating by default, you are at effect of what is being created by your untapped subconscious mind. Without focus and process, your mind falls prey to what it has habitually done in the past. You know this is happening to you if you seem to experience the same situations over and over and over again - the same bad relationships; the same financial challenges; the same frustrating work situations; etc.

Deliberate creating is about taking back the power you came to this earth possessing. It is about actively participating in the total design of your life. It is about following a process, the Process of Deliberate Creation, on a daily basis to continually be moving toward your desires.

Being a deliberate creator of your life is the joy and satisfaction that may be the answer to what is missing from your life. It may be the only thing standing in the way of living and experiencing the life you came to this earth to live.

Learn the Process of Deliberate Creation today and take the first step in creating and manifesting all of your desires!

    Are You Vulnerable?

Copyright Jan Tincher - All Rights reserved

    http://www.tameyourbrain.com

If you've been reading *Tame Your Brain!* for a while now, you know how powerful words are, and the impact they have on your self-esteem.

Have you ever been to a party and someone came up to you and said, *My, you look fat.* Or *My, you look skinny.* Or *My, you look stupid.* You get the idea. If you are already having problems with whatever issue they've mentioned, those words will have a serious impact on you. Even if the person came right back and said, *I was only kidding. I didn't mean it.* His or her apology won't be what you'll remember, the apology won't be the words you run back and forth in your mind. Just like that, your shoulders start slumping, you lose your zest, and you want to go home. And you are seriously ready to make someone else's life a living hell when you get there.

Why? Because someone said something that hurt your feelings? You know the pity party you are about to embark on? NO ONE has any fun there. Why put yourself through that?

You see, if someone hadn't tripped your trigger, you would have had a great time. *They* didn't hurt you. They only tripped a trigger that you have kept near the surface. You LET them hurt you simply by being vulnerable in that area, by keeping your vulnerable outlook close by so that they COULD hurt you.

Can you imagine what your response would be if you weren't vulnerable? If they said *My, you look fat*, but in actuality you are thin? You'd laugh it off, wouldn't you?

Why not take charge of your life? Why not take it upon yourself to be prepared for something like this? Be prepared to laugh it off. Because it's going to happen as long as you have excess weight, a unusual hair style, pimples, glasses, or anything else that people make fun of.

*** TIP *** Did you notice that I didn't say *as long as you have YOUR excess weight, unusual hair, etc.?* Because if you keep claiming it, you'll keep having it. The more you say *I'm fat*, or

whatever, when you look in the mirror, the more you will keep the problem. The more you say derogatory words when describing yourself, silently or out loud, the more you impress those ideas into your subconscious, the more you will bring them into your life. The more you unconsciously invite people to make fun of you.

    Here's how to fix that.

The minute someone has hurt your feelings, or touched a vulnerable area, start imagining them in plaid pajamas. Their pajamas aren't just any pajamas, though. These pajamas have a video playing in one of the big squares of the plaid on their chest. The video has good things happening. It has your mom, your dad, your brother or sister or grandma or grandpa, or someone you respect telling you all good things that you've accomplished in your life. They're patting your back and you are feeling terrific. You are paying attention to the video -- and as you are paying attention to it, your shoulders are going back, your back is straight, you have a smile on your face -- until the person has left, knowing he or she can't get a rise out of you. You have just gone up a notch on their respect barometer, and next time you'll be able to talk with them closer to equals instead of you with *sucker* tattooed on your forehead. Sucker is just another word for vulnerable. Don't

sweat it. You know how to take care of it.

Now, I realize there are some who don't have any good memories to use in their video. This is where the Lemon article will come in handy. *What If Life Doesn't Hand You A Lemon? Imagine It Anyway!* http://www.tameyourbrain.com/lemon.htm
